BSc. PT
Born in Red Deer, Kevin has lived in several Alberta communities and spent a short time in Kingston, Ontario. He completed both of his degrees at the University of Alberta: a Bachelor of Physical Education in 1998 and a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy in 2002.
Kevin works with a broad range of musculoskeletal concerns, including back and neck pain, joint injuries, and jaw concerns. His practice also includes concussion rehabilitation, headaches, motor-vehicle and whiplash injuries, and musculoskeletal care for children. That variety gives him plenty of reasons to draw on both his physiotherapy and physical education backgrounds.
His treatment options include individualized exercise, hands-on manual therapy, acupuncture, dry needling, and shockwave therapy. His work brings together exercise-based rehabilitation and a range of hands-on treatment methods.
Kevin’s sporting background includes competitive karate and baseball, but his interests don’t stop there. Family activities have included camping, hiking, running, cycling, swimming, and both downhill and cross-country skiing. Add kettlebells, yoga, and hockey to the list, and there’s usually an activity for just about any season.
